Lisa Maslovskaya is an Emmy-winning filmmaker and visual storyteller whose work explores cultural identity, migration, and resilience.
Maslovskaya directed feature documentaries on Ukrainian refugees in the U.S. and on the asylum system in Ireland, where she was a Mitchell Scholar. She also was a lead cinematographer on national documentaries and profile pieces ranging from PBS series on Hurricane Ian to projects with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. After covering the Paris Olympics with NBC and preparing for the Milan Games, she is now based in Paris as a France Excellence Scholar, developing a documentary on artists in exile and pursuing collaborative, experimental projects as an artist in Residency at the US Foundation.
